Knowledge sharing event for the betterment of the Alumni has been Arranged by Alumni Association of Khulna University Architecture Discipline. AAKAr SEMINAR SERIES has been started on 16th August 2025, Saturday. First Issue was “Understanding DAP, TOD & FAR Calculation Method with Updated Information”
What an incredible start to the AAKAr SEMINAR SERIES (Issue 01). Total 40 Alumni were joined and made the first session a memorable and impactful event. The energy, curiosity, and active participation of the participants truly set the tone for what this platform is all about.

In this session the Instructor elaborates The meaning of DAP, FAR and Population Density. He also describes the Impact of FAR to control the population Density of a City. The Final Report of DAP 2022-35 overview is also given by the speaker.
How to find data from DAP Live Map has also been demonstrated. Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Guideline 2025 has also been discussed. The process of Calculation of a plot was explained with demonstration of 4 examples.

After participating the main 2 Sessions participants successfully completed a hands work session. In this session They instantly solved 4 examples given by the instructor.
